What syncs where
Google-connected lists sync task content with Google Tasks. Shared lists are iCloud-only. Alerts always fire in ETasks.

Google account & permissions
When you sign in, ETasks asks for permission to access your Google Tasks data using
the scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/tasks. That allows the app to
read and update your task lists and tasks, the same kind of access the official
Google Tasks app uses to keep your data in sync.
ETasks does not request access to Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Contacts, or other Google services. You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions page or by signing out in the app.
